Youth Flatwater Racing Program

Paddling fun for youth ages 10-18 - what better way to spend some time on the water. Come and try Flatwater Sprint Racing!

We want to train participants in the sport of Flatwater Sprint Racing (Canoe & Kayak) in preparation to compete against other regional paddling clubs in the area. For participants turning 16 next year, this potentially includes the BC Games next Spring.

Those youth eligible to join this new program are those who have:

* Completed the Canoe Kids Camps, OR
* Participated in PMPC’s Youth Group,OR
* Have prior Flatwater racing experience, OR
* Have a similar level of paddling experience (or who can fake it reasonably well).

When: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
Time: 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Dates: Saturday, Oct 26 and each Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday following.

What does the program cost?

$275 + gst = $288.75

Plus an annual youth club membership of $100.00
