Introduction to Dragon Boating

Does dragon boating intrigue you? Ever wonder what it takes to have 22 paddlers work in unison to move a dragon boat?

PMPC is offering a six week Introduction to Dragon Boating course for women 18+ years.

Course Dates/Time: Wednesday, April 24 to Wednesday, May 29 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.

Proper technique is emphasized and team camaraderie naturally develops.

All equipment is provided - a paddle and PFD. PFD's are mandatory and you are welcome to bring your own.

No experience required - just bring your enthusiasm and smiles!

If you would like to get more familiar with paddling in a dragon boat - this course is for you! Coach Nick will be leading participants in 1.5-hour workshops for six Wednesdays in April/May. This course will give paddlers the basic skillset required for this fun sport. There will be opportunities for paddlers to form a new team that will practice each Wednesday from June to September.
