Canoe Kids Camp #9

Pitt Meadows Paddling Club offers CanoeKayak Canada’s signature CanoeKids Day Camps focusing on skills development to introduce the sport of paddling. Children aged 8 –13 yrs experience sprint canoes, kayaks, dragonboats, outriggers, and recreational canoes. Available during July and August, campers will receive instruction in various types of paddling from certified coaches, and enjoy spending time on the water practicing what they’ve learned. The daily paddling activities are balanced with games and day trips to various spots along the river, as well as lots of swimming on those hot and sunny days. No experience is needed and campers work at their own pace to develop paddling skills.

Games, team boats, singles, pleasure canoes, fun sit-on-top kayaks and the dragon boat will all be introduced to the participants during the week long sessions. The week finishes with a BBQ, mini regatta and certificate presentation.

FULL DAY camp runs Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

HALF DAY camp runs Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and all-day Friday from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM

• Price – $220 for full day program; $170 for half days. To register for a second camp this summer, or for a second child in the family, $190 for full days or $150 for half days. GST will be added and included in the total reflected.

Children must be 8 years of age to participate in the camp due to the physical expectations.

After Camp Care available from 2 pm to 4 pm - $25 per child
